Final Blog Before The Rally (Dec 2011)

Despite having the additional twelve months to prepare, it seem unbelievable that with a day to go there are still a few items still remaining on the action list.

Mid-December

The revised set of front springs (2 cm taller and rated at 90lb/in) ordered from Coil Springs (www.coilsprings.co.uk) arrived with Neil Satur’s customary efficiency, and as usual the springs were very well presented.

End November

The decision was made early in the month to strip down the transmission to see if there was any obvious cause for the “clunk”  which was highlighted during our test drives.
